I have a TL-WN422G Wireless Adapter whitch can connect via PSP.
Here are my problems: 1) When I go to XLink, inside 'Game Arenas' (I think this is the only way to connect to other players.) It tells me "Detached from Engine" after some time, or after I type something in the text box and press enter to send it. 2) Even if I have my PSP Wireless ON and I'm already in a loby (Usually 1) It often tells me that I'm unreachable. 3) I've noiced that when I'm in a loby in Dissidia and I go to XLink configuration and press refresh to connections, It shows me a connection "PSP_AULUS10..." and when I click to connect to it, I can't connect to the interned, but it tells me that I'm connected to Ad-Hoc. So, do I have to connect to this? But how will I be able to connect to the interned in order to find other players? Thanks for your time you spend to read this, I've read and watched many "How to connect via Ad-Hoc", "xLink tutorials" and stuff but couldn't find any help from them... Thanks in advance and I hope we can have some matches!!!!

I assumed you applied Iron Wolf's tip if you are under 7 (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/vie...=208664#208664) unless you won't get the Psp Xlink Mode and won't be able to play on Kai thusly. Last edited by Narolf; 06-15-2010 at 10:53 AM. |

![]() I would have though it to be a fake if it wasn't written by someone of df. ![]() Who on earth could have said you that? Just forget all what you could have heard before and follow the guide. It tells the truth. |

http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/doku...ort_forwarding Btw it's too hard to connect with XLink if you compare it to hamachi. In Hamachi, all you had to do is to install it, and then activate the connection, then you could join of host network... I thought that you could just install XLink, then register, as I did, and then you were ready to playjust by going in game arenas... But every time I go to an arena it kick me out for some reason... Damn.. And I wanted to test my skills against real players... Seems like this will never be true..

It's completely free to set up a static ip since it's related to your home network. It's something you can already do on your own: it won't bother someone else if you do it nor you need anything else but what you already got. Why would you have to pay for something you're already able to do? Tons of people already did it before you and it didn't cost them a cent. Guess you're making the classic confusion between a local and an external Ip. A local Ip is what let your computer known to the others ones at your home: when they tell you to set up a static ip, they actually mean to set up a local static ip. An external Ip is what let others know who you are on the Internet: every Internet providers make it static for you; if they don't then no one would be identified on the Internet which would create some kind of anarchy. Of course there are methods to make that one not static but let's not talk about it here since it's related to hacking. Don't ask me to check the guide: I was the one who edited it. ![]() Quote:
Why keeping it more complicated than it has to be? This is truly something I will never be able to understand. You could have had a portforwarding issue like the one you're having with XLK with any other P2P softwares just to let you know. Last edited by Narolf; 06-15-2010 at 02:43 PM. |

1) IP 2) Subnet Mask 3) Proselected Gate (Don't know exacly how is it in English) 4) Don't know what to put here. 5) Don't know what to put here as well. PS: I was typing a message but for some reason I wrote it for nothing since it showed me error page not found thing. So I'm getting straight to the point.

Then forget the portforwarding's guide, the static Ip & blabla and just change the Kai's port to zero in your Kai's config. Sometimes, you will still have the portforwarding's error while loading Kai at random but it should happen less often as for now. This is the best you can do at this far. Just get the 7,3 version: it has a window separated from your browser allowing you to open it without any trouble. http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/downloads.php Download it, it's noted as "Xlinkkai Evolution 7" and then click on configure Kai. You will be able to change the Kai's port to zero. You're welcome btw.
